Tarisland New Flying & Teleport Features

The following line has been added to config.txt:

  • Line 11) The virtual key code of the key you'd like to activate Time to Fly, how far to travel every 10 milliseconds, and (optionally) the Y offset to use for the camera. Time to Fly will teleport your character forward in the direction of the camera. It has no collision whatsoever, can teleport you through objects and the ground, and will prevent falling. The Y offset is how much Speeder should add to the angle (between camera and player) to determine whether the camera is pointed up or down. With an offset of 0 (default), the camera must be below your character for you to move upward. With an offset of 1.0, the camera can be angled 1 radian (or ~57 degrees) above, and it will still move you upward. If you are trying to fly around, I recommend a Y offset of at least 1 and pressing the spacebar (i.e., jumping) before pressing the Time to Fly key. The syntax is:
    [key]|[speed]|[offset]
    such as:
    113|10|1
for the key F2, a speed of 10, and a Y offset of 1. As mentioned, you can simply use "113" without an offset if you want.

The following script command has been added:

  • "tele[*][x],[y],[z]" — Teleports your character to x,y,z. If an asterisk is included, such as tele*, you will be teleported relative to your current position. For example, if you use "tele*0,1,0", you will be teleported 1 unit of distance into the air, and your x and z coordinates will not change.

These additions require updating Speeder to version 3.
