New World Preliminary Player Targeting

New lines added to config:

  • 76) If 1, Speeder will lock onto players as well as mobs. At this time, does not discriminate between enemy and friendly players (will soon). Will increase CPU by a decent amount because Speeder has to cycle through all mobs.
  • 77) Max lock-on distance. If a mob/player is farther than this value, Speeder will not lock on. Default is 1000. This setting is ignored if you have manually placed the crosshair on the target, in which case Speeder WILL lock on. This generally does not need to be adjusted unless line 76 is 1.

I have only tested in towns, and it seems to work fine in terms of targeting the closest player. Ultimately, Speeder will only target enemy players, but I want to make sure it is working at this stage before I do that. You will want to adjust line 77 (to something like 50) so that you are not locking on players far away. Unlike mob targeting, if the player is anywhere in memory, it is subject to targeting.

These changes require updating the aiming-assist version to version 46:
